Los Angeles, Ca. February 11, 2014 --- Making his debut into the music world, rapper Bookie Tee has released his debut full-length street album, “Fingerwaves, Perms, And 80’s Jewelry.” The album is comprised of 12+ original tracks for an approximated total listening time of 55 minutes. Categorized with previous rappers such as Suga Free or the late Pimp C for his pimp like approach on the mic, Bookie Tee’s smooth yet aggressive style and beat selection definitely sets him in a different lane. “Fingerwaves, Perms, And 80’s Jewelry” constructs an alternate reality around the listener full of unique subject matter, humorous skits, and rhyme patterns.Download Album: AudioMack | Hulkshare | Sharebeast
Bookie Tee is from Pasadena California and grew up listening to a myriad of genres. We first heard him on Lucille Ghatti’s - S.O.L. where he’s known to be extremely poetic. His music definently reflects his diverse musical ear with having influences from Nas to Rick James. He recently released a video for the single “What I Do” which featured vocalist/keyboardist Tay Walker of The Internet that hit #1 on Snoop Doggs Underground Heat Top Ten Countdown after premiering at #7
“Fingerwaves, Perms, And 80’s Jewelry” is backed up with only a few features. Other than Tay Walker, up and coming rapper JR Cruise, producer Goldsmith, and vocalist Alexandria Taylor complete the feature list. Production credit for the album goes to The Highlights, Leken Taylor, Goldsmith, Patrick Page II (of the Internet) and Shane Freeman who produced the single “What I Do.”
