Chuuwee hails from Sacramento and is one of the dopest up and coming MCs. We caught up with him to talk about his earliest musical influences. He talked about folks ranging from Kurtis Blow to The Neptunes, showing that he is a student of the game. He also talked about another passion besides music that he holds close to his heart. This is the story of Where It All Began in Hip-Hop for Chuuwee.

The first CD I bought with my own money was The Chronic 2001. I bought it at the swapmeet for $10. This was back in the day when CDs were $20 a pop. I thought I got a slick deal, but come to find out it was a bootleg (WTF!) ha. So there it is, I was swindled on my first CD purchase.
