Swerve is a Sacramento, CA artist who quit the Hip-Hop scene in 2005 to chase his other passions in various area's of business. When things came crashing down in 2008/2009, he found his way back to Hip-Hop, but not without a few notable missteps along the way which are heavily documented in his music. Since returning in 2010 he became a favorite in small circles around the web and in various local hip-hop scenes around the country for the last couple years. That all changed when 2DopeBoyz.com & Kevinnottingham.com took notice last February and decided to sponsor him SYG's collaborative mixtape, Cold Winters & Warm Whiskey. Cold Winters & Warm Whiskey was Swerve's first official full length effort and had a overwhelmingly positive response. Swerve is now back just a little more than 4 months later with The Barrelhouse LP as his first full length solo effort. The Barrelhouse LP features the likes of Sene, Co$$, SYG, Ridla and has production from J57, D-Rock, DJ Mentos & More.
