Inspired by the 1964 “Freedom Summer” campaign to attempt to increase voter registration within the African American community in a time when African Americans were excluded. This song is infused with powerful lyrics and a reggae twist expressing the courage to keep climbing to the top reguardless of any obstacles.Brian James takes a different lane and collaborates with reggae artist Wanta Kere to create yet another substance filled Revolutionary Record. The huge and live sounding production was put together by producer Chris Reed Also of Soul Vintage.
